I would say get an AM2+ board and then wait for Phenom....but i know what corporation the majority of tech forums supports...and its sad. :snob:

I support whoever can give me the most performance for the least amount of money. The sad part is that amd dropped the ball. My last 2 systems have been amd, but i'm not going to be some sheep and pay more to get less.

You gotta have some preference or opinion for a "just because" reason. I will always like AMD a little better. But that is not saying I won't have a new rig with a core 2 cpu in it.

We will see if their performance really is what these so called benches I have seen...they say its faster than an 8800GTS however at 200 bucks It would only seem right for them to be similar speeds of an X1950XT with DX10.
