Seems like everyone here loves answering these sorts of questions, so I wanted to jump into the mix

I'm upgrading over top of my **** box that I have now. I currently have my CPU and RAM .. I'll mention them in a second.. and I'm wanting to build around them. My main area of interest is the motherboard. The one I had chosen (listed below) is because it _apparently_ works very well with my RAM and it's very overclockable. I'm personally not interested in overclocking, or at least at the moment, so is it worth buying to get the full potential from my memory?

Aspire X-Plorer Black

DFI Infinity 975X/G LGA775 Conroe 975X DDR2 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E4 1PCI-E1 2PCI SATA Sound

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Dual Core Processor LGA775 Conroe 2.40Ghz

OCZ Gold XTC PC2-6400 2GB (2X1GB) DDR2-800 240PIN Dimm Dual Channel

Seagate Barracuda 250GB HDD

LG GSA-H10L DVD+RW 16X8X16 DVD-RW 16X6X16 (this is debatable as my dad bought me a Sony DRU-800A)

OCZ GameXStream 700W Power Supply

Video card:
ATI Radeon X1900 XTX 512MB Dual DVI VIVO PCI-E

Good, but you really only need a 600w psu.
