Default recommend an asus board?

I'm looking to build an amd computer, probably an am2 x2 4800, 5000, or 5200. I want a motherboard with ddr2 800 standard. Other than that, i'd like 4 sata 3.0gb ports, and thats about all that matters. That leaves me with this overwhelming list of options, so I am curious if anyone has a recommendation or 2, or even a better alternative to any of the asus boards.

Thanks.

dont build an amd am2 rig, for the price you are going to pay the performance will not be justified.
go core 2 instead it slays any amd out there right now easily

i ask because im building an e6600 rig and am hung up on the motherboard as well. if Nevermore isn't too committed to AMD, then maybe you could help us both out.
