Default Rate my comPUTer

MSI 845G Max Motherboard
P4 2.4 GHz 533 MHz FSB
1 GB PC2100 (Board max speed)
80GB ATA/100 7200 RPM HD
ATI Radeon 9200
SB Live! Value
52x CD-ROM
16x Super-Multi DVD Drive
Internal Card Reader
Lots of USB Ports, but no IEEE1394

And I have a 3 piece Altec Lansing speaker set, Logitech media keyboard, Microsoft optical mouse, and a Samsung 17" CRT monitor

Sweet. That's pretty good considering. All in all I think it's good for another couple years, but it really needs a new video card

definetly new video card...maybe a 6600GT if you have a low budget...

other than that its a pretty good comPUTer

It is pretty awesome in word. Even better is the Pentium 75 I have in my basement though. You should see it in word.

Well, from a gamer's point of view, its not good. But, considering that most PCs you buy from the store still have 256MB of RAM, Intel Integrated graphics, 40GB hard drives, and 200W power supplies, I say its pretty good for the average user.

Wow Amazing you just described my $h!tty dell perfectly before i upgraded it, now it's a kinda ok pc

Before
P4 1.8ghz
256 pc2100
intel (not)extreme graphics
200w power
40gb HD

After
still P4 1.8ghz
768mb pc2100
GeForece Fx5500 (on budget)
same 200w power
and same small 40gb hard drive (nickname for hard drive, tiny)
