Im about to pull the trigger on my build so i can start building on monday. What you guys think? Im not a hard gamer but i want to be able to plat games like Rainbow 6,Battlefield, and C.O.D.

Same speed, but more cache, I believe.

That could work as well.

But I believe you need AM3+ if you ever want to upgrade your CPU to higher performing ones. Not sure though. I rarely deal with AMD.

last question...i dont need a cpu cooler unless im overclocking right?

Technically, no, you don't need one. But, like me, even if I don't OC, I like to keep my CPU as cool as possible.
