Yeah...I KNOW!! Love my Antec 900, but that is an amazing case too.

Or................instead of 2 8800GTs, what about a pair of Radeon 3870s with an x38 board and DDR3 1333 memory?

A little bit more but not much, how do the 3870s do against the 8800GTs?

In single card configurations, the Radeon 3870 doesn't hold up well compared to the Geforce 8800 GT. However, two 3870s in Crossfire mode seem to scale very well, and will give a pair of 8800 GTs a run for their money in this price range. In addition, dual 3870s should be notably cheaper than dual 8800 GTs, as availability increases. Finally, Crossfire supports a wider range of chipsets than SLI, so it's often an attractive option.

scrap the case+psu combo in my opinion, its a waste of money

Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER Stacker 830 RC-830-SSN2-GP Silver Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail (120 after MIR) + Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 620W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TUV, CCC, C-tick - Retail (150 after MIR -- or a silencer 610 for 120) will suit you just fine.

also from what we've seen on bechmarks, crossfire 3870 are supposed to be comparitive to sli 8800gt's, but cheaper

imo, go 2x 3870 and get a nice x38 board

with the extra money you could get a TRUE and a scythe s-flex fan, and drop the zalman 9700

also, stock heatsinks on gpu's tend to be rather crappy ~ aftermarket gpu coolers are a lot better, but they can get HUGE ... make sure your motherboard has enough room between the pcie slots

from what I've seen... the Crossfire scales way better than SLi and it performs better.. I highly recommend the p35-ds3p for Crossfire.... or a good x38 board
