Default Raptor PROBLEM lol

OKAYduring testing of this raptor hdd i have it wont boot consistantly, it booted 3 out of the 7 times i tryed it...any ideas?

You might want to take your 160GB off the B/S/T/ forum until you figure it out! BUT... it does sound like it's starting to go... when you say boot, do you mean windows won't see it or it won't spin up?

isnt it 10000 RPM??? i think thats why.... my 7200 RPM seagate barracuda went out one month after i bought it O_o
now i have a WD and it works fine =]

wut are you talking about?? the rapter is suppose to be 10k rpms.. and it should work... being 10k rpms should make it not work.

Reformat I guess or do error checking or something. I really wish I knew more about hd problems. ****!

I would suggest a good scan disk... then reformat. if it still does it after that, then you might want to think about a new one.
