Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model for $109.99 with $40 rebate. $69.99

or

Patriot eXtreme Performance 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop for $111.99 with $50 rebate. $61.99

I want to get 4gb of one or the other.

Everyone on this forum is going to tell you Crucial. I haven't run either brands myself so don't take my word for it.

The timing is 4-4-4-12. This is for the Crucial Ballistix.

I can spend the extra $16 for the Crucial. I have read some good reviews regarding the Patriot RAM that showed it to be a great overclocker. I am surprised at the rebates on both of these. The rebates make this RAM very cheap for either.
