Default Ram upgrade issues

Hey guys,

i just installed 2 extra gigs of corsair value select ram in my pc. After boting up vista(32bit) only recognizes 3.5 gig of it. Any ideas what is wrong? These are 4 identical sticks of pc 5300 667mhz corsair value select ram.

any thoughts would be appreciated,

Default Re: Ram upgrade issues

Vista sees 3.5gb but uses 4gb of ram
also read this:
The system memory that is reported in the System Information dialog box in Windows Vista is less than you expect if 4 GB of RAM is installed

My computer uses 1.5A-load, .8A-idle, .65A-standby, .05A-turned off on 125V.
