ram setup

I'm building a new system soon (socket939) and was wondering what ram setup would be better... 2 sticks running dual channel or 4 sticks running dual channel?? Either way it will equal 1 gig, not sure if it would make a difference performance wise or not. Won't be doing any hardcore gaming, mainly just racing games.

I think 2 sticks running dual channel would be the better choice. I just don't see 4 sticks making much difference to 2 sticks, both instances equaling the same size. plus the 2 sticks makes room for more ram

Agreed with undergrounddlz.....having 2 sticks in dual channel will leave room for future upgrades.
