Default Ram recommendation

Hi, i'm looking for some ram for my new gamin build. it's going to have an asus crosshair IV formula mobo, and a phenom 1100t be (overclocked) i'm looking for some high performance ram for my build (2133mhz, and 4gb)

I was thinking of getting these: Corsair CMT4GX3M2A2133C9 Dominator GT 4GB Memory: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

Although it says these are for use with i3, i5 and i7 processors, is there any dedicated memory for phenoms?

Thanks, all help is appreciated greatly

There isn't actually any such thing as dedicated memory - Intel just pays Corsair a bunch of money to stick their branding on it.

If you're going to get high performance memory, then that's a good option.

It's a lot of money for what it is (considering I bought 2 4GB sticks of 1600MHz for £75 - that's 2 2GB sticks of 2133MHz for £95), but if it's what you're after then yes, I would buy those.

Thanks for that, cause it's actually the last piece of the puzzle in my new gaming build.
