ok, so I'm looking for ram as most of you have read. I recently came across an add for Mushkin ram, and their ads at least say alot. has anyone dealt with this ram? is it possibly worth checking into? Crucial is the most recommended here, and that's what I'm 85% sure that I'm getting, but I'm still open. thanks!!!

Mushkin are quite good, but i'd choose the ballistix.

Mine do 3,3,3,8 at 2.15v 400mhz....

G.skill hk's do 4-3-4-5 or something close to that.

For the record though, tight timings really doesn't add that much performance. Generally speaking it isn't noticeable unless you run dedicated memory benchmarks.

The ocz stick im selling do 1T at 4-4-4-12 which is always good.

Yeah, it makes more of a difference with AMD processors since they have integrated memory controllers
