Ram question

I'm thinking of upgrading the Ram on my computer from 512 to 2gb. My mother board is the soyo dragon 2. I was thinking of going with the OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Dual Channel Memory. Will this work with my current motherboard? In about a year the next upgrade I want to do is a new motherboard and processor.So I'd like to get something good for when I switch it over

I think that motherboard can only hold DDR RAM, not DDR2 RAM.

yeah that mobo/cpu is for ddr not ddr2

**** I figured it was too old. I guess I'll just wait until I'm ready to do the chip and mobo. Thanks for the help
