That sounds interesting. Is there a link or something to support your claim- it would really help....

I think it's a little true:
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

If my memory was correct, I saw the HZs last time at $104.99...or was it always that low? Maybe I'm confusing it with the HKs.

Still a steal compared to what we paid 3 months ago. But yeah... could be on the rise.

I've been on Newegg just about everyday for the past 3 weeks trying to put together my first build. I also saw that the HZs went up to $114. Prices change almost daily. The day after I ordered my 8600GT, it dropped $5 to $134. I also had my motherboard go out of stock by the time I went to buy it, resulting in me upgrading a bit. I wonder if we wait a week, the HZs will drop again.

I think Hookster is right here. Maybe its just market static? if everyone sees more ram going up then we can panic. But i doubt its 2002 all over again.

Ram prices may go up and stay at a steady whatever. They were actually almost too low to think that they would stay at that rate for too long. They won't raise much though.

Ugh, prices at new egg go up and down based on the supply. They have an algorithm set up, that slowly raises the price as their stockpiles run low. When i bought the HZ's last fall they went up like 40 dollars in one week, and thats what a sales rep told me. Don't panic, they'll go back down when they get more in.
