Ram Help!!! (Photos)

My computer has been working fine, and just one day I start my computer up and it says I have 256Mb of ram. I have 768Mb with 1x 512Mb and 1x 256Mb. In cpuZ it says I have 768Mb but on post screen it says 256MB.

I have tried switching slots but it still happens. Any Ideas?

have you tried them separately (one at a time) to make sure both sticks work properly? Sounds to me as if one is going bad...

ive had a glitch in system properties once that told me my cpu was 6.5ghz and it was only a 2.8. after a couple of reboots it went back to normal. so it could be something like that. did you check the bios and see how much it sees. what does it say when you POST? and have you tried selecting the long boot in your bios so it checks your mem in the post as well.
