i was wondering if DDR500 will definitely not work with DFI Lanparty NF4 UT-D?:(

and which oc's better, 3500+ or 3700+?
and what cores should i get for either?

i'd rather go for a cheaper proc if 3500 and oc well and over 3700 while being cheap and reliable....thanks

I think that sticking by the DDR standard of 400mhz or PC3200 memory is the best thing to do. It's most likely cheaper than DDR500, and probably not even slower.

Any AMD CPU OC's pretty dam well, but buying the 3700+ and OCing it would award you 4000+ speeds. Don't even buy the 3500+, buy the 3200+ and OC it by 200mhz and you will have saved $50 and have the same performance as a 3500+.

Go for the San Diego core on the 3700+, the 3200+/3500+ cores don't really vary and aren't as different IMO.

The 3700+ is only around $225 or cheaper I believe, that's not a lot of cash for such an excellent processor.
