out of those 2 options, the clear winner there is the PC2-8500... the price difference isn't that great, and they're stock at 1066, which means you know you're gonna get at least that, but there's no certainties with the PC2-6400s... although you will get a great OC out of the Reaper series... they're trusted DIMMs and OCZ products are almost always top quality... but as people have said above, the P45 chipset will be a better OCing platform, the high end nForce chipsets (690i, 790i/Ultra) are great, but every other one is mainly just to sell licenses for SLI boards and will not perform as well as a P45 or X48 based board
