I'm about to purchase an upgrade of my RAM and thought I should ask if it will be compatible. From what I understand with my limited knowledge it will work but it's better to be safe than sorry.

The following are my computer specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120830-0333)
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: H55M-S2V
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.1GHz
Memory: 2048MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 1976MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Drive: C:
Free Space: 107.6 GB
Total Space: 227.9 GB
File System: NTFS
Model: Hitachi HDS721025CLA382 ATA Device
Drive: D:
Free Space: 198.1 GB
Total Space: 953.9 GB
File System: NTFS
Model: ST31000528AS ATA Device

This is the RAM I'm considering purchasing. I originally planned on getting 8GB (2x4GB) but the website I'm buying off is having a sale, so I figured why not get 16GB (2x8GB).
Mwave.com.au - G.Skill Value Series 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR3 RAM F3-10600CL9D-16GBNT

These are the rest of their stock

So, please tell me if that RAM will be compatible with my computer, and if it is, do I need to do anything to install it? I've heard somethings about changing BIOS settings and timings and what not but I have no idea what that's about. Also feel free to recommend upgrades for my other parts.

Thanks guys.

Maximum RAM supported is 16GB with only 2 DIMMs so I'm assuming 8GB sticks are supported. By that I'm going to say it'll work. I would get 8GB of 1600 over 16GB of 1333 though.
