Ram 1g vs 2g

If i not mistaken, more cards of ram = better
meaning 4x1g > 2x2g, correct?

And was just curious as to your thoughts on quality of 2gb sticks v 1 gb sticks.
I ws thinking about getting 2x2gb and then later getting 2x2g more.
OR just going with 4x1gb and tuffing it out for a while.

doesn't matter... 4x1gb doesn't allow for more expansion.. but even for a gamer thats overkill.. 2x2gb kits have more RAM... but usually are crappier in specs if against a 2x1gb Kit...

Don't we all. I get about 3 fps on high. The main reason i'm doing a $500 overhaul on my computer.

The only difference right now is the capacity (for future upgrade) but one of the biggest differences is that the best 1GB sticks can clock higher than the 2GB sticks so far.

4x1 is going to be cheaper than 2x2. And right now there are very few choices of good memory in 2gb sticks. Personally if you are on a budget, just get 2x1gb and upgrade later if you decide you need more
