im also getting a e6600 2.4 and oc to like 3.4 or 3.6 and a bfg 8800 gtx
so which ram would be best thanks

They're both HKs, it's just that one has higher speeds. But I'm sure with the cheaper one, you can get good overclocks. Plus it has tighter timings.

You will get the same overclocks pretty much. The DDR2-1000 just have added volts in them to put them up there. You can do the same with the 800
