raid help

i went ahead and bought the amd 64 4400+ the abit sli mobo i've got 2gb of ram pc 3400 dual channel now i need to go get the hard drives im thinking about doing a striping and mirroring combo but would like some advice on what to do also what speed 15,000 10,000 or what

If you are you concearned about speed then raid 0 stripped array. If one drive fails all your data is gone ( 10,000 rpm raptors 2 x 74gb = 148gb stripped drive). If you are concearned about data then raid 1 mirrored. If one drive fails data is safe (get bigger drives 2 x 250gb = 250gb mirrored drive).
