What Is the best type of Raid to use for a setup for performance and for caution? (selecting for the Raid that this board supports)

well the overall best for what you ask would be RAID 0+1 however it is a very "inefficient" type of array. you need a minimum of 4 disks to implement it and only half the array can be used for storage. i think the best is probably RAID 5. i would post you a link to a great site that explains RAID unfortunatelyi have lost my bookmarks

Ya RAID 5 Is best of both worlds.
Only need 3 Drives.
Just search RAID on wiki.
