HD 4850 GDDR3 is coming the end of this month

HD 4850/4870 GDDR5 is expected to come out june/july.

Expect the HD 4870x2 to come out near the end of this year.

Most people have hopes that the HD 4870 will perform like a HD 3870x2, if thats the case then the 4870x2 performance would be like 4 3870's.

I highly doubt we're going to see gddr5 products a month from now.

If anything gddr4, the reason being is that gdd4 has never even come close to becoming mainstream and has only been featured in a couple cards to date.

Making the jump to 5 would not make any sense.

I don't think you've seen all the articles lately about how AMD are skipping gDDR4 and going straight to gDDR5....

I found this last night looking for some 9800gx2 benchmarks. I have no idea how reliable this is, I'm not a good judge for that so I'll let everyone else here decide.
