Default Radeon Card on Nvidia SLI Chipset

I have an Nvidia SLI ASUS motherboard and a 6600GT. I am wanting to put an x1800xt radeon card on that motherboard. Will the SLI chipsets conflict with this causing performance loss, incompatablility, and such? Thanks for the help

No. Ironicly, there was a benchmark showing that radeon cards were actually faster on nvidia chipsets.

Wasn't that like a few years ago, or was it only a few months ago?
