quick question bout ram heat spreaders

can i remove those heat spreaders or will they be compatible with this

you can take the stock heat spreaders off. i think there are small clamps, or even glue. but make sure when you put the other heat spreaders on to put thermal paste on the chip parts only. but you really dont need your ram to light up do you? the stock heatspreaders work fine. just wondering

well if i didnt need it to light i could find waay better heat spreaders for that price. im trying to build a show/performance pc

ah i see...well then go for it....im sure the heatspreaders can be removed
