Default quick question

i know, a big, messy, can of worms. but... amd vs intel. are the lower end laptop processors for each company rated diferentlt, or are the amd's actually that much slower. my wife is looking at laptops, and is looking at several with celeron similar to and including Celeron N2830 (2.16 Ghz), N2930 (1.86 Ghz) and amd E1-6010 (1.35Ghz). i am just trying to get a feel if they are actually colse in real life performance speed, or if the numbers say it all. all of the systems are running windows 8.1 .

Default Re: quick question

The E series is much slower than Intel's Celeron mobile chips.
