If you wanna save like 10 bucks on that, for for IDE, its the same thing.

Sata can sometimes gives you problems its what I heard, but I only heard it for hard drives.

I'd take SATA for increased airflow and better Wire Management and better overclocking capabilities.
 
Overclocks a lot better, and I that Biostar has a way higher FSB hole anyways
 
My experience with Asus (and it's been over 100 boards now) is about 1-in-3 are DOA. Biostar seems to be moving up quickly in the ranks. Good choice vern :).
