I want to have a separate Raptor drive for the OS to clean things up. Would a 36 gig be enough for vista? Or would a 74 be better?

36 would be enough for Vista but 74 would be better (only $50 more). Reason being, future updates and if you want to install certain applications on the raptor drive will have a better performance. You can always add a SATAII as a secondary for storage.

The 36GB is a waste of money (there are 7200 that can run just as fast or faster). But the newest 74GB is very fast.
