Quick build check for a first-timer?

Experienced with electronics but never built a computer before...main uses will be a lot of data analysis+spreadsheets, a good amount of AutoCAD rendering, other various multitasking, and gaming. Wanted an SSD so threw that in there to keep my OS on, but had to get a 1TB HDD due to the amount of media I have. Any suggestions for cutting costs would be appreciated, but aren't essential; I mostly want to make sure I haven't overlooked any compatibility issues and this will be good for my needs. Also, are there any cables/connectors/other essentials I should be getting that won't be included with the various parts? Thanks in advance!

I would recommend a minimum of a 60GB SSD for your OS.

And those Corsair Vengeance memory modules with the tall heatspreaders can cause an interference problem with a lot of aftermarket heatsinks.

My 2 cents:

1) Antec makes a great case, but they are over-priced for what you get.
Rosewill Challenger or NZXT Source 210 Elite will give you USB 3.0, painted interior, and cable routing holes, for less than the Antec.

2) i5 2500K + Asus P8P67 Pro (3.1) Combo, same features as the MSI P67-GD65 but saves you $15 up front.

3) Corsair HX750 or Silverstone Strider 750, $10 cheaper than the Seasonic X650 plus rebates, 100 more watts to handle a 2nd GPU in the future.
