ok, i have a dell xps laptop and for a while now i have been using an external 17 in. sony crt monitor instead of the lcd. i went over a friends house with my lappy and noticed a huge performance boost when playing DoD:S when using the lcd with higher resolutions than i normally used with my crt(recommended res is 1024*768). i think i used 1680*1060 as my res on the lcd. also i used the same graphics options....why is this?
