Question relating to EVGA GTX285 SSC

Seeing that I can not find a retailer here in Australia that has ASUS GTX295 in stock I have decided to get a 285 and spend the saved money on some games or something.

My question is, is there any actual hardware differences between the SSC edition and a normal EVGA 285 apart from the fact one of them comes pre-overclocked?
Also if the SSC edition is a waste of money is it better to buy ASUS or EVGA?

No there isnt any difference between them, and you can just overclock the standard one yourself. Depending on where you buy from the EVGA is likely to be much more expensive so i would just go with the ASUS.

Ended up getting the SSC anyway seeing it was barely more expensive. Not too much of a waste I hope.
