Question about video card power

Getting my 7900GT today, because the first one I got was DOA.

See how it has the plus where you plug in the power supply? I don't have a plug like that, but luckily the card came with a convertor. But it came with a convertor that you plug into the card, and it branches off into two places to plug in a normal power supply thing (the second thing from the left in the fifth picture). My question is, do I need to plug in both of them, or just one?

Both.

You need to connect both. Make sure you connect them from different rails and not two from the same rail. It won't work otherwise - there won't be enouph power in most cases.
