I recently purchased this mobo: EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

The PSU i have is a OCZ GameXStream 600w. When i read the mobo specs i noticed that the power to the cpu is a 8pin.. Looking at the cords on my PSU i have 2 cords that say CPU 1 thats a 4 pin and CPU 2 thats a 4 pin as well...would i be able to use both of them to plug side by side into this board? Figured i would ask insted of just doing and possibly mess up a $250 mobo. Thanks - Ed

I think the 4 pin is for core 2 duo cpu and I think the 8 pin is for quad core cpu......but I could be wrong, definitly check with someone with more knowledge than me.

Someone here will know.

Use the two power connectors you mentioned. Its called EPS. They are split so the PSU can work with motherboards with the P4 or EPS Cpu power connections.
