Question about installation.

Just built my computer, and at the momment using a 680i eVGA mother board. Now I have a few questions, I turn it on, everything seems to be working. But when the BIOs loads up it tells me if notices a GPU in slot 2 or 3, please move to slot 1 for non-SLI. But I want the cards to be set to SLI. So when I hit I go to hit a key, it does nothing and all I hear are tiny beeps in the background from the mobo. Any clue?

did u put in the sli bridge correctly?

Yeah, looks to me it is. I have Dual 8800GTX, I have the bridge on the notches towards the fan.

Update: I think my mobo is broken. Or well the Slot 1 PCI-E x16. I take the cards out, and place one in Slot1 with no response, then take the other and do the same with no response. Out of curiosity I put both cards in Slot 2 to test out, and I get the same message. So I'll probably phone eVGA and maybe ready an RMA.
