Default question about DFI LP ULTRA-D

hey i just wanted to clear up a confusion, i hear ppl sayng that dfi lanparty ultra-d can sli? u customize the board and it can sli or something like dat? i juss wanted to kno wuhs that all bout, cuz i dont see how it can be a sli mobo

It does have two pc x16 slots and you used to be able to enable them. Now, DFI did something where you can't anymore (last thing I heard).

yup they changed it in a revision so you cant mod the board but there are most likely the older revisions still in the supply chain though.
i say spend the extra cash and grab the sli verion of the board.

Supposedly DFIs anti-modification device was alittle epoxy that they put over the contacts. This is the linkto the guide on how to do it. Its a fairly easy mod to do and shouldnt take long if you decide to do it.
