I am wanting to get a new hard drive for my computer. I know I have some SATA slots available on my motherboard. So, I would be able to add another hard drive to my computer and have that in addition to the one I have.

If I did the above, would I need to reinstall windows? Also, if later on I want to use the new hard drive as my sole hard drive for my computer, is there a way to do that without reinstalling windows? Thank you for your help.

If you want to use the hard drive as your primary drive (drive with Windows installed on it), and don't want to reinstall, then use Norton Ghost or Acronis. Both are programs that make an exact image of the source drive, and copy it over to the target drive. I've used Ghost multiple times, and its worked everytime for me. Only thing I've had to do was re-enter my license key for PhotoShop a few times, otherwise I was good.

Nope, none of my games had to be re-entered. Only thing that did was Photoshop for some reason...everything else worked fine.

And yes, its legal since you have a legal serial key.
