Default A question

1. Newegg.ca - Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

With this CPU which I plan to overclock what would you recommend as the new heatsink since the one that comes with it is apparently trash. I'd prefer a link from Canadacomputers.com for the heatsink since I don't want to order it.

Another question, what do you recommend overclocking to

Newegg.ca - BIOSTAR TForce TP45HP LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Newegg.ca - SIGMA SHARK SP-635 635W ATX12V V2.01 SLI Ready Power Supply - Power Supplies

= motherboard / Power Supply

Well that power supply sucks.. (bad brand)

and a good HSF is the Core Contact Freezer (but Newegg is the only place that has it)

You should get 4.0ghz (but don't whine later if you don't)

I do not accept help requests and/or deleted threads/complaints by PM, Profile or IM/Email. Just ask on the forums! Also, I do have Lockerz invites if you want them, feel free to PM me your email if you want one :0

If I help you, or you just like what I said, rep me by clicking the

.. But things don't go according to plan! My Actual Rig, 2009:

Get an E8400 if you haven't gotten the E8500. Save some money there is only a .5 multiplier difference.

Get this power supply instead Newegg.ca - CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies. Single rail and a reputable company.
