Default a question

I was just looking around on the internet, when I came across a game called Flight Simulator X. After looking at videos of this game, I was stunned by the graphics. Now my question:
In that video, they guy is using an 8800gtx, Qx6700, and 2 gigs of overclocked ram. Can I get the same quality (by that, I mean can I get the same looks of water, land, etc.) by using a Q6600, 2gigs of RAM, and an 8800GTS (640MB)?
