^that is an excellent price then for i7...well if it is decent hardware By decent i mean:
asus p6t (or equivalent) 6gb 1600mhz ddr3, and obviously the 920.

Okay my prices were abit under. £714 for this:

Corsair 6GB Dominator 1600 DDR3
Asus P6T Deluxe X58
Intel Core I7 920

Thats off eBuyer, and there prices have gone mad at the moment. I'll try off another website.

edit1:
Same setup, £692 off scan.co.uk

edit2:
Same setup, £646 off lambda-tek.com

edit3:
Same setup, £692 off overclockers.co.uk

 I shall not be using ebuyer.com again 'till they've sorted there prices, thats for sure.

Those same components come to 646.37 Euros inc VAT, over at overclockers.co.uk

If you choose the 3GB Dominator kit of the same specs, it's 558 Euros inc VAT.

The price of those i7 mobos seriously needs to go down. :/ Anyway, on topic now, I also like to use my PC like the poster, with a million things opened all the time, and I definitely see a big difference on quad compared to duo. Everything is much smoother and the system feels more responsive under load. I'm on a Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz.

Thats good to here, thanks snowsurfer.

Can't wait to get it, should be here tommorow ! Shame i only just woke up at 3pm in the afternoon...which means i won't sleep tonight  This is gunna seem like forever till i get my eager little hands on it :p
