Default q6600 support...

*not sure if I'm posting in right place, it's a double issue* will XP pro 64 bit run on the q6600? I haven't really got into the software of processors, and I've just been here -http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/facts/sysreq.mspx - and well, you might see where I'm confused. I'm pretty sure it will work but I thought I'd double check, you guys have helped with so much of my stuff already! can't wait to post pics of the modding and complete build

I've used XP 64-Bit it's quite a hassle. There really was never much support for it and no one really tried to develop anything to make it better so take caution. I switched back to 32-Bit on purpose.

So I'm with veedub on this one. Go with Vista x64 Home Premium.

I just use part of my raptors to run XP x86, Vista x64 and SuSE x64. The rest is for games, storage etc.

I still use XP way more than Vista.
