Hey guys I'm finally starting to overclock. However I'm not able to overclock to 1333 FSB on the default volts. The highest I can go is 1250 at 2.8GHz. 1260 loads sometimes and resets others. 3dmark raised to 14391 with just this overclock. Wahoo! Anyways, is there anything else I need to do before messing with volts? Is there some reason I can't reach what most Q6600 reach?

I noticed there is a CPU Core and CPU FSB in the volts. What is the difference here? Which is upped usually? Many people have said the max a Q6600 can take is 1.55v. Which of the above is the 1.55v refering too?

Also I wrote down what someone told me in another post. They said to set these volts right away as it will make overclocking the q6600 better.

MCP: 1.55v
SPP: 1.60v
HT: 1.55v

Can someone describe the above a little better to me? Maybe some directions? That would be great!

Thanks a ton guys!

i asked the same question about the cpu core and cpu fsb and couldnt get a strait answer... im still yet to oc on my 680i
