putting together my first computer

I got the stuff on the way.I need to learn all the stuff I have to do when i put it together.All the technical stuff to make it run well.Not overclocking details I am not ready for that YET.Any good sites or anybody have some good tips.Will I get some directions with some of the hardware on how to do these things.Please help I have about 2000$ into this thing and I am kinda scared I might mess something up

Bad timing for your video card dude. The 7900 GTX is coming out really soon, Making the 7800 GTX lower in price. And soon enought the GeForce 8 series is coming out. Once it's out you gotta upgrade your vid card soon.

Can't wait till the GF 8 comes out.

i wouldnt worry too much about the geforce 8 as of now... people want to game NOW, and do not want to wait to see games at their best.... as for the 7800gtx.. ya you should wait til the 7900 comes out so the price will drop on that..

by the time he wants another video card it'll be too late for the trade-up, i've read on here its only 3 months.... and the geforce 8 isnt until the end of this year.. 3rd or 4th quarter.. i myself highly doubt 3rd... dates are always pushed back
