Ok so i have a dell dimension desktop only about 3 years old,and i was wondering if i could build a new atx based system system and put the parts in the dell case?

Dell seems to build their cases so only their parts will fit in it. Why would you want to use a Dell case anyway when you can get a good on on Newegg for less than $50.
