Purchasing advice needed
Hi,
I am purchasing a new system, which i am planning to build myself. I was wondering if i could get some help in my choice. I have picked a motherboard ( Canada Computers ):
Asus M2N-E Socket AM2 nForce 570 Ultra MCP Chipset DDR2 533/667/800 6xSATA PCI-Express x16 Slot 7.1 Channel Audio Gigabit Lan AMD Live! Ready.
and my CPU choice is:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Socket AM2 Orleans 2.2GHZ 2000FSB 512KB L2 Cache 90NM Retail Box.
and my case will be:
Antec New Solution NSK6500 - Mid tower - ATX - power supply 430 Watt ( ATX12V 2.0 ) - USB/FireWire/Audio.
HardDrive:
Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 SATA NCQ 3.0Gb/s 80GB 8MB Cache (OEM).
Memory:
Corsair DDR2 PC2-5400 667MHz Value Select 1GB Kit (2X512MB) 240-pin Unbuffered DIMM (VS1GBKIT667D2).
and also i will add my old PCI video card (Radeon 7500) untill i purchase a new PCIe card later.
I just worried about the Power Unit. I think it looks compatible with the motherboard, but not 100% sure.
Besides that, from what i can see there should be no problem, but it is the first time i ever will be making a PC from scratch, so if theres any further details i should watch out for, please advice me. I would appreciate it.
thanks
