Default psu vid card requirements

first off id just like to thank everyones help over the years for awnsers freely given and the help provided.

heres the current dilemma my friend bought a comp from a friend and the video card blew after 1 week(what a bummer)(2nd blew after 3rd week) anyways im here to make sure the new card he wants can run off the psu he currently has

psu--http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817148022

the new card he wants is--http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130568

hes an nvidia fanboy so it has to be nvidia just want to know if the psu can handle(and has the right connectors)for this card

also if there a better card around the 200us price range that could work would take all suggestions under advisement

current stats
currently has an Athlon 64 x2 4200 installed (motherboard supports quad core processors as of the newest bios update)
4gb DDR2 800 Corsair XMS2 Ram (SLi Ram configuration for optimal performance)(supports up to 8gb of ram)
2x 8800 GT OC 512mb Nvidia video cards in SLI
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum (with front panel input/output and IR Remote control)
250gb HD

have already replaced the cpu with phenom2 quad @3.0

also hes still using xp(cant seem to get him to understand that win 7 is worth upgrading to)

any help would be greatly appreciated

games played ddo--bad co 2

Though the psu is weak for 680W... It'll run it no problems.

I run 2 260s on 700W so 1 460 easily runs on 680W.

In the $200us range, the 460 is king. The 5830 is around it at the same price or a 5770 at a lower price.

The 460 and 5830 are your 2 cards. Now its just using newegg deals to get you your best price.
