Default PSU Question

I'm making up a list for a friends 1st build are goal is for a little gaming, everyday computing and upgradeable any suggestions on psu's I'm looking at 2 so far.

You need to tell us what components hes running before we can ever reccomend a PSU.
And if you don't have that yet, how much he wants to spend.

Save your friend some money, go with the FSP. Both are great brands and have enough wattage to run a modern pc, so go with the cheapest.

FPS have a much better reputation and 580w is overkill. the 450w FPS is all you could possibly need.

I was leaning more the FPS also but noticed the wiring on the Hiper

eh Hiper makes good PSU...but FPS makes better is all :P
