So the specifications on my power supply say it has a 20/24 pin connector for the mobo. The mobo has a 20 pin connector and I just figured this out today. The mobo will be here tomorrow. I was doing some reading and some power supplies have connectors that you can clip 4 pins off of and it will work for a 20 pin mobo. I'm guessing mine can be clipped since it's specified as a "20/24" pin. Am I right?
What pins do I clip off?

Just checked the connector and you were exactly right. The extra 4 just clipped off. Thanks again, hopefully I can get this thing running tomorrow. :D

You know what is funny so many people worry about this and it is such
a simple thing.
Well I was reading the online manual about my board and just saw 20-pin connector. So I looked at my PSU and saw it had the 20/24 so I was a little relieved, but not too sure. Thankfully, P.P. Mguire here let me know that everything was going to be ok. lol :p
