i opend up my psu today to see if i can replace that LOUD fan thats anoying me
and it happens to be a 2 pin connector. i tried looking on new egg but i havent found anything
does any know where i can get a 2 pin 120mm fan?

Some times you can just switch out the plug piece on the fans,You will lose the rpm sensor wire but no need to monitor that anyway's for a psu.

I've done a few psu's before and if i couldn't change the plug i just cut and soldered the wires.

You can also purchase a 3pin to 2pin adapter.

Be very careful inside your psu.

It is not recommended to do any work on a psu by tf.

Do so at your own risk!!!!

yeah should be pretty straight forward.

As Hefe said, be careful.

The easiest method is to solder a new connector to the fan. Don't forget to use some heat-shrink tubing at your solder cuts :D

And remember, even if you have to buy a soldering iron your still saving money compared to buying a new power supply.
