Program to monitor temps

I know this is an obvious question, but this is my first build that I've ever attempted to overclock, so I haven't concerned myself in the past.

Here's the stupid question...

What are the "typical" programs people use to monitor the computer temps?

It depends on your CPU

The most accurate is Core Temp.

Everest and Speedfan are quite close as well though.
 
I got speedfan and everest. I would go everest definately, i only use that one now. it has the good option of displaying diff temps in the quickbar, autoloading with startup etc etc. Also it is just an all round awesome computer program, diagnostics that is. Shows you absolutely everything.

Also another advantage of it is that is looks at every aspect of each component in the temperature section, like my GPU has 4 separate temps for its different parts (8800GTX) with only a Asus P5B mobo, so it aint like you need a top of the line mobo to get a LOT of data
