Hello

I am wanting to upgrade my computer system.

I currently have:

Pentium 4 2.8Ghz processor 800mhz

These are the things I really need upgrading.

I would like to buy an entirely brand new system and have two in line but I was just wondering whether these processors would perform better than the one I already have.

Computer 1 - Pentium D 945 3.4Ghz 800Mhz

Computer 2 - AMD Athlon 64 3200+

I'm looking for a good performance in games, general office tasks and internet.

Thanks

:)

I thought you might say that the AMD ones were better!

Here is the link to the PC with the Pentium D 945 which I might get.

Here

The one with AMD is a custom build from Overclockers but it doesn't come with a monitor and is just as expensive. I'm not sure, I just want a solid, smooth and reliable performance as the PC I've got at the moment is starting to show it's age. Plus storage is a big thing I'm thinking about. 250GB seems enough for me but I will go higher depending on the price (lets just say 250GB is a minimum).

I'm looking for a PC in the £500-£799 bracket.

Thanks
